The Var is the most important river in the Maritime Alps and starts its journey at 2800 m altitude. Fed by snow melt and rain, it offers some 100 km of white-water courses through sun-drenched Mediterranean landscapes.
Full and half-day white-water trips run daily from Entrevaux, Puget-Théniers, Touët-sur-Var and Malaussene, tailored to all levels of experience and water flow.
