THE LANCE
Next door to the medieval village of "Colmars-les-Alpes", this tributary of the Verdon has an alpine feel (altitude 1400 and 1250m).
- La Lance
The course of the Lance is an ever changing spectacle, flowing through magnificent open countryside then steep rocky gorges, with the "grand finale’" of a double waterfall. High summer when the water is warmer is the best time for canyoning. This 3 km long canyon takes approx. 5 hours. Age 16 years upwards.
This canyon is located at 1h15 from Digne-les-Bains, 2h15 from Nice, 2h30 from Cannes and 2h45 from Marseille.
THE TRIP
Day course of a vertical drop of 330 meters. Provide 5 hours of descent. No approach walk and 15 minute walk back. Many jumps and abseils.
INFORMATIONS
Personal equipment to bring : swimsuit, towel, a pair of athletic shoes with laces, like sneakers. This activity include : Supervision by certified guide, approved professional equipment.
